Workshop: Responsibilities of Students Towards a Social Reconciliation and Healthy Society

On June 8, 2026, the Unit of Social Reconciliation (USR) at Eastern University’s Trincomalee Campus held a workshop titled “Responsibilities of Students Towards a Social Reconciliation and Healthy Society” as part of the 2024/2025 Orientation Programme for Department of Computer Science undergraduates in the Faculty of Applied Science. Delivered by Dr. (Mrs). B. Mithurendran, the session emphasized the role of undergraduates as catalysts for peace and harmony, encouraging the new students to balance their future technical expertise with civic and social responsibility.
