SLASSCOM Industrial Engagement Programme

The Faculty Career Guidance Cell (FCGC) of the Faculty of Applied Science (FAS), Eastern University, Sri Lanka, successfully facilitated the participation of students and academic staff from the Department of Computer Science in a prestigious industrial engagement program organized by the Sri Lanka Association for Software and Services Companies (SLASSCOM).
The program was held on 23rd April 2026 at the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL), Colombo, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, bringing together academia and industry on a dynamic platform for learning and collaboration.
A total of 90 students, along with 6 academic staff members, actively participated and benefited from this enriching experience.
