We are warmly welcoming you to our Engineering Services Division. Our major role in the Trincomalee Campus is to provide a conducive teaching and learning environment to students, staff and other stakeholders by taking care of all infrastructure facilities, essential services such as water, electricity, cleaning, and maintaining a green environment inside the campus premises.

Main Functions

• Ensure uninterrupted supply of water and electricity to carry out academic activities smoothly.
• Day-to-day maintenance of existing buildings, services, and surrounding environment inside campus premises.
• Technical and contractual administration of capital and rehabilitation projects as engineer to the project.
• Assist physically and technically in preparation of new project proposals, physical development plans, estimations, drawings, bid documents, and procurement of goods and works to the general administration.
• Supervise and handle environmental cleaning works inside the campus premises.
• Upgrade physical development plan under the guidance of the Campus Board/Council.

How to Obtain Services

Report any breakdown in electrical/water supply, sanitary appliances, or any repair/renovation/upgrading works related to building maintenance to us. For emergencies (fire, electrical shortage, water shortage), contact us directly via office or mobile phone.

All other job requests should be reported through respective heads using the standard job card. E-requests will be accepted only if sent via the respective head’s official email to the Engineering Service Unit’s official mail.
