Academic Affairs Division
Welcome to the Academic Affairs Division, Trincomalee Campus, Eastern University, Sri Lanka. The Academic Affairs Division is a key administrative division of the Campus which deals with matters that have a direct bearing on students’ examinations.
The objective of the division is to provide efficient administrative services to the students, staff and other stakeholders through activities carried out accurately, lawfully, transparently, productively and with confidentiality to meet the Vision and Mission of the University.
The Academic Affairs Division provides essential services to stakeholders of the Campus community. This provision encompasses a wide range of activities for the Trincomalee Campus, Eastern University, Sri Lanka, mainly focused on examination administration.
Main Functions
- Conducting Campus examinations in accordance with the University’s rules and regulations in coordination with the faculties.
- Arranging all activities related to releasing examination results.
- Obtaining approval of the Senate for examination results.
- Facilitating the General Convocation for conferring degrees.
- Issuing results, degree statements and academic transcripts.
- Verifying results issued by the Campus to government and private institutions upon request.
