The Centre for Industry and Community Linkages (CICL) at the Faculty of Applied Sciences,
Trincomalee Campus, Eastern University, Sri Lanka, conducted a “Practical Seminar on Php,
MySQL, and CSS” on November 6, 2024, for ICT students from the Trincomalee Education
Zone. The seminar took place from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. in the Computer Laboratory and
was led by resource person Mr. W. Sriwathsan, Mr. B. Christopaul, along with 20 supportive
final-year students from the Department of Computer Science.
The seminar provided a solid foundation in Php, MySQL, and CSS through hands-on activities,
making the session both engaging and impactful. Students gained practical skills and
confidence in web development and database management, which will support their academic
progress and future career paths.
CICL extends sincere appreciation to the resource persons and supporting students for their
invaluable contributions to making this seminar a success.
